Abbinabili has been in the Poliform catalog since 1991, which makes it the oldest thing on this site by fifteen years. It is a minimalist storage series, and it survived three decades of changing taste by not having any.

Aiko is a sideboard system, not one sideboard: Jean-Marie Massaud drew it in 2022 as a family of volumes that can be specified in different lengths, heights and fronts, in glass, marble, fabric and linen.

Brera is Jean-Marie Massaud working in straight lines. The sofa came first, in 2022, as a fixed piece rather than a modular system, and the bed and bedside tables followed in 2024 with the same low, horizontal build.

Chloe is a bed with a headboard that wraps: the padded panel folds forward at each end into two small wings. The bedside tables and the chest of drawers from the same 2017 series repeat that fold, so the whole room shares one move.

Code is the system that lets a living room wall be assembled rather than bought. Listed in 2019, it combines open and closed elements freely, carries on into the bedroom as bedside storage, and brings a bench that matches the rest.

Dream has been in the catalog since 2006, which in furniture terms makes it a fixture. The base is rounded and quiet; the headboard is not part of the bed at all but a system of cushioned panels on the wall behind it, and that separation is the whole idea.

Duke is a 2024 sideboard collection built on a contradiction: the volumes are solid and imposing, and the curves drawn into them take the weight back out. Leather is among the finishes, which is unusual on a case piece.

Free is a monolith made of rectangles. Listed in 2008, it is composed from stylised geometric blocks in matt and gloss lacquer, and the arrangement of those blocks is left to whoever specifies it, which is where the name comes from.

Gentleman is a set of armchairs, poufs and sofas that can stand alone or be grouped, listed from 2019. Three versions carry the name: Relax for sitting back, Reserved with a buttoned high back, and Single as the compact one.

Kelly is the bed for people who do not want a padded box in the bedroom. A slim solid wood base carries the mattress and the cushioned headboard sits above it, and because the base can also be upholstered, the same bed exists in two quite different tempers.

Onda is the oldest family on this site: the pouf dates from 2003, the bed from 2007, the bedside tables and chest from 2014. The bed is a single curved line that works as base and headboard at once, and the case pieces answer it with cylinders in solid wood.

Phoenix is Poliform's own kitchen design, and its whole argument sits in one detail: instead of handles there is a groove cut along the door, so the fronts stay unbroken and the kitchen can be laid out with unusual freedom.

Senzafine is not a wardrobe but a system that keeps being extended, which is roughly what its name says. It covers a fitted wardrobe against a wall, a walk-in closet that stands free in a room, and an island chest of drawers for the middle of a dressing area.

Symphony is a family of sideboards with an elliptical body, listed in 2021. There is no decoration on them at all: the design is the ellipse, the material and the quality of the joint that carries the curve around the corners.
Elliptical sideboardsStart with the wall, in inches. Width, height to the finished ceiling, and anything in the way: a radiator, a window reveal, a beam, a sloping ceiling. Photographs of the empty wall help more than a floor plan does.
Then the doors. Hinged doors need swing space in front and are the cheapest; sliding doors need none and cost more; a walk in system removes doors altogether and changes the room instead of filling a wall.
Then the inside. Hanging rails, drawers, shelves, shoe racks and lighting are priced separately from the shell, which is why two wardrobes of the same size can differ by a factor of two. It pays to say what goes in it.
Delivery and fitting. Systems arrive in parts and are assembled in the room. We say in the quote what the fitters need: an elevator, a parking permit, a finished floor, and how many hours it takes.
