One curve, repeated six times

The move that holds the family together is a single bent line in solid wood: it is the handle across the back of the armchair, the crosspiece under the table, the backrest of the stool. Gallina stripped structure and padding back until the wood does the work, which is why a Curve chair reads as thin from across a room and still takes a full sized adult without flexing.

The chair comes in three versions, and the difference matters more than it looks. All wood is the lightest to move and the easiest to live with in a kitchen; wood with an upholstered seat softens a long dinner; wood with seat and back upholstered turns the same frame into a chair you can sit in for two hours. The frame is identical in all three, so a house can mix them around one table without anything looking mismatched.

The table carries a top in wood or marble with a hand worked edge, held by that same crosspiece underneath. A marble top changes what the base has to carry and roughly doubles the weight of the piece, which is worth knowing before it goes up two flights of stairs.

The bed is the quiet member of the family: a padded headboard on a light wooden frame, drawn to sit low. For the American market it is built to a King, a Queen or a California King rather than to an Italian size, and we quote it against the mattress you already sleep on.
