This site shows furniture and takes requests. It does not sell anything, and nothing on it is an offer in the legal sense.
Who we are
poliform-furniture.com is run by an independent specialist that quotes and supplies Poliform furniture in the United States. We are not Poliform S.p.A. and we do not speak for the manufacturer.
Poliform and the names of its collections are trademarks of their owner and are used here to describe the furniture we quote.
What a quote is
A quote is a written offer for a specific configuration, valid for the period stated on it. Prices shown in a quote include what it says they include, and nothing more.
Nothing on this website is a price or an offer. Photographs, descriptions and material lists follow what the factory publishes and may change when the factory changes them.
Orders
An order exists when you accept a written quote and the agreed payment is made. Poliform builds to order, so a confirmed order cannot usually be changed or cancelled after production starts.
Lead times in a quote are the factory's figures at the time of writing. They are estimates, not guarantees, and delays caused by the factory, the carrier or customs are outside our control.
Delivery and inspection
Check the goods on delivery and note any damage on the carrier's paperwork before signing. Damage reported later is far harder to claim, and the carrier is the party that has to answer for it.
Warranty
Manufacturer warranty applies as published by Poliform for the market of sale. Normal wear, damage from misuse, and the natural movement and colour change of wood, leather and stone are not defects.
Liability
Our liability in any case is limited to the value of the goods concerned. We are not liable for indirect losses, including delay to building work planned around a delivery date.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the seller's jurisdiction as stated on the quote and the invoice.
