Soft on top, strict underneath

The mid-century reference is in the silhouette, not in the details. There is no button tufting and no tapered teak leg doing an impression of 1958. What Owen takes is the posture of that period: a seat that curves generously while the structure holding it stays rectilinear and visible.

That combination is why the family survives in a modern apartment where a genuine mid-century piece would look like a quotation. It sits beside contemporary architecture without arguing with it, which is exactly what Poliform builds for.

Cocooning is the word the factory uses, and it is accurate for the armchair: the curve comes far enough forward at the sides to hold you. In a pair, facing each other across a low table, the two chairs make a conversation area in the middle of a larger room.

Being new, Owen is not yet everywhere, which for a buyer is an advantage: it is the piece nobody else on the street has. Lead times on a 2025 family run longer than on an established one, and we give the current figure when we quote.

The curve is mid-century. The structure underneath is not.
